Mercor Basics

Mercor is a freelance platform where you can apply for freelance positions, get contracts , work on them and get paid via stripe account.

1. Get started

Login to https://t.mercor.com/m1u9I

Go to profile and fill your details and LinkedIn details, availability, upload resume 

2.Apply to positions

Go to  Explore tab and search for your keywords and apply for suitable positions. 

Generalist is a general evaluation role and you can just try to understand the way of working 

3. Assessments 

Every position you apply for will lead you to the necessary AI interviews. There will be 3 takes for every interview.There could be certain written assesments for certian positions

It is a good idea to have a look at assessments tab and record relevant interviews so that you stand a chance for those roles

4. Stripe Account

Go to earnings tab and set up a stripe account. The steps are clear on the website about how to do that. If you do not have a freelancer website, add LinkedIn profile link instead. Note that this stripe account can only be used by Mercor to pay you. 

5. Offers 

After 4 weeks is when you can expect the first offer.You may also get offers for suitable positions depending on your resume.You will have 14 days to accept the offer and once accepted it will move to Contracts section
