While in school,we had to read a proverb everyday after prayer saying "THOUGHT FOR THE DAY".When it was my turn, I was so disinterested to do the job that I let my mom choose one for me, and the one she went for is "CHANGABILITY IS THE ONLY UNCHANGABLE THING IN THIS WORLD".Sounded pretty complicated(I mean even now it does ;) ).Forget about getting the meaning right , it literally took me a couple of days to pronounce it right. Considering my age and maturity level my english teacher chose to keep the explaination short and sweet when she was asked to.
Here it goes."Change is inevitable.Growing inches taller, pounds heavier, shades darker is all change. You cant avoid it,this is what the quote means", she said.(Here I must confess that at that stage even half of this simple version bounced ;). What a dumbo she would have thought of me:( !!).
Its been almost a decade that I've passed out of school. Now I feel ,change is not always inevitable.Sometimes we choose to change.Again there are people who are crazy about changes and too very open to it(They keep changing cell phones, bikes also gal friends;))and yet another category of people who are phobic to changes.(I fall in this very category having not even changed my hair style from the past five years ;) ).
Universally accepted that people phobic to changes have to get flexible when it comes to changes and thus no more debates on this. Now coming to the counterpart:
Change is healthy but what we change and how frequently we change is truely important. When it comes to big decisions like change of work place, place of stay or even bigger things (which i might not even be aware of) ,we really need to take care.
Typically when we are fed up with the our current status we get an impulsive urge to go in for a drastic change. We fail to realise that what we are actually in need of is the change called A BREAK not A MIGRATION.
For instance when we are bored of eating chapati's at home we order for a pizza. This does'nt essentially mean we are C/O dominos or pizza hut forever.Similarly if you are bored of work take a long leave, instead of changing the job unless its too crucial. We can quote numerous examples depicting a similar situation.
Change is that only thing that we encounter in every walk of life right from womb to tomb. While beware when you are opting for a big change coz not always in the journey of life you get to apply the reverse gear or press Ctrl + Z.
Still figuring out changes and its challenges

PS:After drilling about like 500 words on change,I think I will have to go for a change with respect to my blogs;). In my next post i will surely try to post some spicy stories ( may be my own life stories but then just for formality claiming that its a fiction ;) )
